Hi,

First I have to say that I'm happy gtkg evolves so well. More and more
people get intrested and contribute, and some even offer documentation,
which is priceless those days :)

Christian, thank you very much for integrating the reparent patch and
much more for working with the config panes (which I was to lazy to
layout ;). Now interface-glade2.c compiles like a breeze.

Whoever wants to start a forum, by all means do so. I understand many
problems come with forums, but with modern engines this can be kept to a
minimum. Forums have a "disconnected" property IRC doesn't have, and are
usually more attractive than mailing lists. Please don't flame me.

Someone here a while ago spoke about an XML protocol for
frontend-to-daemon communication, claiming compatibility with another
P2P engine IIRC. May I ask what the progress is ?

Richard, we talked once about your subscription/submission model, and I
still think XML is best way from the daemon to the frontend. I also have
some ideas to submit. Is the list the right place for this topic ?

Cheers,
