There appears to be a nasty bug in recent CVS versions, whereby any compressed connection will become stuck as soon as there is more than one item in the TX queue.
This must be one of my recent changes, because the beta version did not seem to suffer from it. You can witness this by watching a compressed conection. As soon as you see the 'd' flag appear, the TXc count should become stuck. At some point, the connection will be dropped. I have no idea what happened, because I have not been changing the TX stack for a long time... Must be my recent optimization patches... although I don't see anything that could explain this behaviour...
