It seems that none of the structures used in gtkg seem to share any hierarchical properties or functionality that would warrent OO. It has been my experience with programing both procedural and OO languages is that there is no point in defining classes that are neither extended nor extensions of other classes. I don't think that programing gtkg in C++ would bring any real benifits worth the amount of work it would take to convert all of the program.
