Don't worry too much about kilo vs kibi here. Bandwidth measurements rarely use the kibi- (1024) prefix. Kilo- (1000) can be correctly used here. Even memory bandwidth uses kilo/mega/giga- (1000's). But for memory _size_ it is worth being clear w/ kibi/mibi/gibi (1024's).. > > http://www.romulus2.com/articles/guides/misc/bitsbytes.shtml very handy link. kB/s looks weird, but would be correct. might be best to stick with your suggestion of kilobytes/sec. Just double-checked against the spec you linked to. At the bottom, it seems to agree with me that bandwidth should be 1000's based. > > btw, I notice that K/s is not marked on the gui for the entry boxes for > "Ultrapeer mode" at least for the gtk1 version. > > -- > Murphy good catch. -- a smith ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by: Free pre-built ASP.NET sites including Data Reports, E-commerce, Portals, and Forums are available now.
