I've finally found a way to workaround gcc 3.x's cpp bug.
Also Configure should now detect GNU/Linux correctly and force the
"usenm=false" settings automatically.

Otherwise, I did a minor GUI/core update: it is now possible to clear
"unavailable" downloads automatically but let "failed" ones stay.
Look at the tooltips for the corresponding options to know what it means.

NOTE: the above is a GTK1 change only. I'm not maintaining GTK2.

I've also renamed the "Clear completed" button as "Clear stopped", in
both GTK2 and GTK1.

- (2003.08.16 - RAM)
 * Updated metaconfig so that the generated config.h can compile properly
   with the broken gcc 3.x pre-processor.
 * Added size of arrays in external declations from gnet_stats_gui_common.h.
 * [GTK1] Added new download auto-clear option: unavailable downloads only.
 * New property "autoclear_unavailable_downloads" to clear unavailble
   downloads only.  TRUE by default.
 * Renamed "Clear completed" button as "Clear stopped".
 * All downloads that timeout or for which the push route is lost are
   stopped via download_unavailable().
