Apologies, by the way, I must have spent a couple of days on trying to
build the program by now, and I guess I got pretty cross with the thing.

Yes, I take back what I said about metaconfig. It's not Configure's fault
that it doesn't build, in any case. I'm suspicious of the i18n setup
on my machine now.

Nor do I, it seems, since when I looked more closely at my downloaded
binary, it's clearly linked to libgtk-1.2. Looks like a problem with my
GTK installation. Thanks to those who made binaries available, though.
I'll sort that out and try the original binary again.

I take back what I said about switching to Limewire, anyway. It's too
slow, too garish, and keeps crashing :)
