Just a comment on this as I don't have an SF account. I was about to
report this one myself. I would add that dl_byte_count, being a guint32,
rolls over at about 4.2Gb, which is not a lot if you're on ADSL.

A guint64 would give us a little more headroom (I can't work it out, because
it boggles my brain, but it's more in the number-of-atoms-in-the-universe
territory. Certainly more than a few terabytes.)

Yes, this would be very useful, though only if it were cumulative. You
could call it something like 'Sharing factor' - some other clients have
this and it is a useful reminder that you have to give as well as receive...
