I don't think it is a priority right now, but if you want to implement it do

Are there any specs concerning handshaking headers or command codes
for this already? Or is the suggestion still just a suggestion how in
principle this might be done?
 

Actually, all gnutella proposals are just suggestion on how something 
can be done. They get implemented most of the time though.
