You might think at first that the article opposes peer-to-peer filesharing, but it doesn't. While I do advise that one avoid trouble by downloading content only with the permission of the copyright holder, I also stress that sharing of any files ought to be made legal.
I point out that enough people use p2p apps that they could change the law if they became politically active, and suggest a number of concrete steps one can take to reform copyright law.
