I had a crash like this,
[eight times...]
Gtk-CRITICAL **: file gtkctree.c: line 4541 (gtk_ctree_select): \
assertion `node!= NULL' failed.
There is no "gtkctree.c" in my source, so I assumed that this was some
toolkit (gtk) problem. I guess that "gtk_ctree_select" was being
called by the GTKG source with "node == NULL". This happened a second
time with only one "Gtk-CRITICAL **..." message. Unfortunately I only
recently set my "ulimit -sC 1000000" so I didn't get a core dump.
I also updated from anonymous CVS last night and the problem hasn't
recurred yet. However, sometimes hints to developers help.
Regards,
Bill Pringlemeir.
