I guess it has to do with the memory leak issue currently under discussion in
another thread.
After about 18 days of continuous operation GTKG (gtk1) has accumulated about
80 mb virtual memory. However, after a restart it uses *far* less memory and
the system is responsive again.
Currently (after 1d 01:39) it uses about 20 mb virtual memory again, so I
guess in three days I have to restart it again.
I was just asking because this behaviour is new (well, those problems were the
reasons for me not to cvs-update too often, because once I found a version
which has nearly no problems it is hard for me to update ;-)
The version I used before (with the "beep" feature ;-) used to run for weeks
without any problem...
