I think the strings that were widget names are completely removed now.

I'm not sure about the purpose of these place holders. Empty labels
are hard to select in glade unless you use the widget tree. The place
holders certainly are also meant as documentation to indicate what
will appear at this place. However, I don't think the latter is horribly
important. If it's mostly about the "empty label problem", I'd suggest
a single place holder string e.g., "[place holder]" or the like for
all labels. Even if someone translates it, this wouldn't cause a problem
or significant work.

I've replace a couple of those place holders with similar strings that
are already used elsewhere.

That was actually meant as temporary solution. So the properties should
either be presented properly or removed from the GUI if nobody cares about
them any more.
