That's a known and suprising problem with Linux. It's fixed in CVS. If
you compile it yourself anyway, try CVS. A couple of bugs have been
fixed since 0.95. There'll be a bugfix release soon but I can't tell
when yet.

I don't know why or whether this version is actually required but you
need libxml2 to compile Gtk-Gnutella. So you'll have to update your
libxml2 installation.
