The source files generated by Glade are regenerated each time you run make while the .glade file is newer than the generated files. Although, Glade doesn't spit any error message or warning if that fails, IIRC. If you generate the source files from the GUI, it will give you a warning if it cannot write to the files, which could be your problem as until recently callbacks.[ch] were notoriously changed to read-only. That might depend on certain circumstances, though. If you use the GUI, keep in mind that Glade will drop callbacks.[ch] into the current working directory. -- Christian
