The message is shown because gtk-gnutella detected a valid fileinfo
trailer at the end of the file. If you look with an hexeditor, you'll
see 91 E6 36 40 as the last bytes and probably filename aliases before
that. This signature is preceded by 4 bytes for a checksum and the
4 bytes before that indicate the complete size of the trailer (in
big-endian format), the trailer itself starts with 00 00 00 06. If
you strip those bytes from the file, it'll have the original size.
