Gtk+ 1.2 and GLib 1.2 have not only been deprecated for years now,
they are definitely not 64-bit clean. Even if you removed those
lines and gtk-gnutella then compiled fine, this does not prove
anything about correctness and indeed all internal library code
of Gtk+/GLib is still blatantly wrong.

Just stick to Gtk+ 2.x and GLib 2.x.
