I'm trying to install gtk-2.4.0. I'm almost there but can't seem to figure out why I'm getting this Pango error...
The error is: "Pango 1.2.0 and Xft backend is required for x11 target" I've got freetype installed and had no trouble building pango and it is in my PKG_CONFIG_PATH.
