When configuring gtk+-2.4.9 I get the following error
message
configure: error: Pango 1.2.0 and Xft backend is
required for x11 target
Can somebody explain me what does this means?
Particularly considering that gtk searches for a pango
version older than 1.4.0. Also, as far as I know Xft
are some kind of fonts? aren't they? What do I have to
do, install them or something?
