Aren't gtk+ developers the most appropriate persons to explain in what gtk+ is
better ?

The OP has a problem with gtk+ support on Windows; AFAIR Qt was meant to be
cross-platform; from your reply it's clear there are not enough resources among
gtk+ developers to support the Windows port, so, taking all this into
consideration, I think my question is quite practical and in order.
