And If I remove all the links and the "functions" that are called from my gt k+ application, the Japanese is displayed. Anyway, if I comment out those functions but keep the links with the C++ sources and compile, it crahes with the core. So, I think the functi ons that I am calling are not relevant with this error. There may that c++(Sun c++ lib) and gtk+ library have compatibilty problem. I am loooking forward to hearing from you.
