Yes John,
I've set:
$ xnadasrc=`pwd`
$ export DEVROOT=$xnadasrc
$ export PIP_CONFIG_DIR=$xnadasrc/.config/pip
$ export XDG_CONFIG_HOME=$xnadasrc/.config
$ sh ~/Desktop/gtk-osx-setup.sh

Have I forgot something else?
