This actually doesn't seem to work when your Gtk2.pm is too old.

The official-ish win32 active perl build
(http://www.lostmind.de/gtk2-perl/) seems to die on the
set_program_name line.  The build is from 2006 and I've been on a
question to build a fresher version for this reason (among
others.

I seem to lack the skills to nmake Glib.pm under win32 though.

Apparently MS commands can't be longer than a certain length even
under the new "power" shell.  It's either that or windows hates
me.  I'm open to either explanation.
