No, you're right, but the second patch to EU:D together with this patch to EU:MM does work: http://cygwin.com/ml/cygwin/2008-07/msg00039.html This patch is now in Cygwin's perl package, and with the changes to Cygwin 1.7 allowing filenames containing ':', gtk2-perl packages will then build OOTB, including the manifypods target.
