I'm using $canvas->get_pointer() and Glib::Object->new_from_pointer() to store
Goo::Canvas in a shared perl data structure. However, it always return invalid
value:

# This produces "-1-1", which seems to be really weird
print $canvas->get_pointer,"\n";
