---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: CPAN Tester Report Server <do_not_re...@cpantesters.org> Date: Fri, Dec 28, 2012 at 6:45 PM Subject: CPAN Testers Daily Summary Report
Please find below the latest reports for your distributions, generated by CPAN Testers, from the last 24 hours. Cairo-1.102: - i386-netbsd-64int / 5.10.0: - FAIL http://www.cpantesters.org/cpan/report/4bc76e46-4e6a-11e2-b162-c5ed238b44f3 All, I've looked into the above recent cpantesters failure of Cairo 1.102 on NetBSD (6.0), and I'm not quite sure of what I've found. The Cairo Perl module links against libfreetype during the build process for the module. I built the module in a copy of NetBSD that I have running in a VM, and then did an 'ldd' on the resulting 'Cairo.so' file. In the output of 'ldd', libfreetype is listed twice, once with the path to the library, and once with 'not found'. You can see the output from my build of Cairo on NetBSD 6.0 here: https://gist.github.com/4394839 The 'ldd' output is at the very bottom of the gist. Note that NetBSD 6.0 was just released in October, so I am thinking that something may have been changed in between 6.0 and the prior release (5.2). My next steps from here were going to be to try building Cairo with older versions of both Cairo and NetBSD. cpantesters was also sending out error reports for Cairo on "2.6.32-279.14.1.el6.x86_64", which I've discovered is an updated version of CentOS 6.0. I also spun up a VM with CentOS 6.0 to test Cairo 1.102, but I could not duplicate the errors that were being generated in the cpantesters report. Please let me know if you have any questions.
