There are separate packages:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] Mono.GetOptions]$ pkg-config --list-all | grep gtk-sharp
gtk-sharp Gtk - Gtk
gtk-sharp-2.0 Gtk - Gtk

You need to use -pkg:gtk-sharp-2.0 for your application to use the one
that maps to gtk-2.4/2.6 (soon they will change numbering scheme to
make it clearer what GTk version they are binding to).

Package gtk-sharp binds to gtk-2.2.

It hurts!
