Hi Manuel,

I am trying to use Gtk# Stock Buttons in Windows, but the icons are not showed. This is what I am doing:

This has to do with the theme used by default in Windows (WIMP[1]). It
intentionally hides icons in buttons to make it look more like Windows
(which doesn't have icons in buttons).

Hope this helps.

This is correct. I include the gtkthemeselector.exe in the Windows installer so that you can try different themes with ease. Here is what you do:

  1. From the Windows "Start Menu" go to the "Mono 1.1.x for Windows"
menu and select "Mono 1.1.x Command Prompt"
  2. At the prompt, type:

            "gtkthemeselector" and press enter.

Hope this helps.
