Greetings I am running the MAC OS X v 10.4 (Tiger). Previously I was able to install mono and GTK+ and the option did show up in X-Code 2.5 optins for new projects, although I have not run it yet. I'm trying to unpackage and install mono-develop Beta 1.
The mono package used was: MonoFramework-2.2_5.macos10.novell.universal.dmg the GTK+ package was: Gtk-Framework-2.14-LATEST.dmg Mono supplies me with a gmcs and an smcs C# compiler. While running the configure program during installation I noticed that the installer seemed to looking for the microsoft .net compiler csc.exe. Copying and renaming gmcs and smcs as csc.exe in some of the directories that install was searching did not seem to work. I tried GTK# under two versions: gtk-sharp-2.8.5.tar.gz which was recommended on the mono-develop page and... gtk-sharp-2.12.6.tar.gz which is the newest version: Both installers seemed to have the same result, this is the install output for the 2.8.5 version of Gtk Sharp. after ./configure I got the following output.
