Hi, I've two system: Linux Ubuntu 9.10 with Mono 2.0.1 + Monodevelop 2.0 and Windows XP with Mono 2.4 Framework.
Well. I've build a very simple Gtk# "Text.exe" program with Monodevelop on Ubuntu and test it. On Ubuntu... no problems, but on Windows XP (with "mono Text.exe" command), the issue is the Windows Theme: it's win95/98/2000 Theme... not the XP current Theme... why? I've googled this issue but I haven't find any solution. On this forum there is a http://www.nabble.com/Windows-theme-not-applied-td20758097ef1367.html#a21996943 "Windows Theme not applied" thread, but the solution: Forms.Application.EnableVisualStyles (); Forms.Application.DoEvents (); Is not appliable in my context: these methods not exists in Gtk namespace!! The same issue is also for Demos application in win32 installation P.S.: if I change the Windows theme during application running, the theme on Mono/Gtk# application come applied regularly. Why? Anyone can help me?? Others issue: The Mono win32 installer, create two shortcut in the start menu which not works: Programs > Mono 2.4 for Windows > Application > Glade 3 Programs > Mono 2.4 for Windows > Application > Gtk Theme Selector Why? I've re-installed more times the Mono+Gtk# Frameworks on windows (from http://www.go-mono.com/mono-downloads/download.html Download section), but the issues are persistent! Please... help me!!
