Thanks Chuck I'll give that a try. When searching for MS C# related
sites I usually search for "c sharp" with the quotes but Gtk# seems a
little more tricky.
I also have found http://www.krugle.org/ to be helpful other times I
find myself just browsing through existing Mono/Gtk# projects that do
similar task as what I am doing.

I find it hard to search specifically for GTK# pages because search
engines like Google and Bing don't get the "#" part. Even putting
"GTK#" in quotes doesn't push the GTK# hits above the GTK+ hits.
So I created a Google Custom Search at:
http://www.google.com/cse/home?cx=000684786887132452694%3Anlpemshxrqi
The sites included are:
http://anonsvn.mono-project.com/viewvc/trunk/
http://www.devx.com/opensource/Article/32302/1954
http://www.go-mono.com/docs/
http://www.mono-project.com/

If there is another solution to this problem, or you have other sites
to add to the custom search, please share.
