This is supposed to be true with GTK as well.  This is more of a GTK
question... Gtk# is just a binding, and while we often know the answers
to GTK questions too, you might get a better answer on the GTK list.
They tend to know some of the more nitty-gritty stuff like this since
they actually develop the thing.
