These questions are exactly those which I could have put! Especially the Cairo drawing ones, as I am transferring a real-time graph package from System.Drawing to Cairo. Windows performance is particularly bad (but then, the System.Drawing using Gtk# from the Windows installer is also poor), but the linux versions have worthwhile speed improvements. I'm certainly willing to help out where I can, even if it's only in testing.
