May I assume you are asking for _where_ the exe file is created? Because if you are talking about an existing project, the "how" part already is done. Except you choose the wrong project type (the library type would compile a dll e. g.)
Coming back to the assumed question: look at the project options' output path Beware that this path dynamically changes based on output configuration and platform!
