I actually have the same problem....even on the console i do not have
any output.

I don't know why, but it don't work for me. In cmd, i have not
messages. I have messages only if i run application from mono console
on windows.
But often i have situation when application launch from mono console
and don't launch from cmd or explorer.
I don't know how i can debug it without tambourine.
