Hello everyone,
Those of you who have been following this list for a longer while might
recall that I had already ported over my application over to GTK#3 in
early 2012 [1]. After waiting years for an actual release of the
bindings, I finally decided to give up the endless wait and jump ship to
Vala.
I have written a blog post [2] about language choices, available tools,
porting and packaging. It doesn't go into technical details about the
code differences between C# and Vala though. However, if some people on
this mailing list are genuinely interested in that and/or thinking about
porting too, I can do a little writeup about my experiences. Just let me
know!
