If you haven't posted this there, you might want to cc the gtk2hs mailing list 
gtk2hs-devel@lists.sourceforge.net In a response a developer said:

"...Our export on the windows installer seems to be snowed under so we don't 
have anybody to look into this at the moment..."

I've been meaning to learn NSIS (I don't know if that's the installer they 
use). Is this as easy as quoting the path and changing the version number in 
the installer? I could give it a shot with some help?
