This is a more and more recurring question as Python 2.4 is now accepted
as a "commercial grade" release.
I tried to contact the maintainer a few times 6 months ago in order to
send him my comments about PyGTKGLext and a binary for Python 2.4 but
had no answer. :-(
Is the maintainer sill alive ? ;-)
