I tired this patch against gtkglext HEAD (from sf's CVS) and it works
ok... mainly. Only 2x and 4x FSAA were selectable (on a GeForce 7900GT
using nvidia's 1.0-9742). Everything beyond that resulted in no
antialiasing at all. To get higher FSAA-modes for GL-apps I had to use
nvidia's "X Server Settings" tool (or their $__GL_* env-vars).

On a i915-powered laptop (version-string reported by glxinfo: "Mesa DRI
Intel (R) 915GM 20050225 x86/MMX/SSE2") I tired it too, but there
probably some driver bug prevented multisample to work at all.

When will we see this patch pushed upstream? It's a nice and very
valuable addition to gtkglext!

Best regards...
