Just a bit concerned about the license (or lack of).  The README says "released 
in the public domain".
I don't know in which country you live, but many jurists are of the opinion 
that this is impossible in 
many legal systems.   It could cause problems in the future.

If you want to waive all rights, I suggest that you consider the 
http://creativecommons.org/choose/zero/ 
license instead, which is designed for such things.

Also, its best to put a license notice (or at least a statement of intention to 
waive all rights)
in each of the source files, in case they become separated from the README.
