gnomemm | gnome-vfsmm | Ver: 2.6
Summary: Parameters to Gnome::Vfs::Async::Handle::transfer
confused
Product: gnomemm
Version: 2.6
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: Normal
Component: gnome-vfsmm
AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
CC: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Distribution/Version: Ubuntu 5.04
It seems to me the parameters for the signal slots of the
Gnome::Vfs::Async::Handle::transfer method have been confused. The one na=
med
"progress_update_callback" is in fact the one to which the slot for user
interaction (the "sync" slot) gets assigned.
Same for "progress_sync_callback" of course: It makes the client think it=
would
be the slot for user interaction, but it isn't. It's actually the "normal=
"
progress slot which gets called whenever a progress update is received. T=
he
names have just been confused and should be switched.
Though not severe, this confusion is highly misleading and leads to quite=
some
confusion for the programmer.
