October 2 Motorcycle Consumer News is holding an informal ride for its staff and readers. The ride begins at MCN headquarters in Lake Forest, CA (near the intersection of I-5 and I-405) at 7:30am. This hasn't been done before and we have no idea how many readers will show up. We fear too many. In any case, it will be broken into various groups of different riders and riding styles. The entire ride will be three days long. But... Although regular staff members will ride all the way to Lauglin, NV following a circuitous route, yours truly (just a measely contributor) will only do this as a day ride. So any GTSers who are interested in going for a day-ride and showing those other folks just how cool our bikes are, please join me to form a RADD pack. I am personally inviting not just GTS riders, but any bike with a front swingarm suspension. Okay, you can bring your friends too. Those who might attend, feel free to contact me for any further information. If I get no takers among the GTS folks, I just might take my Ducati. Or a Honda. You've been warned. Jay
