I don't think the ABS problem is as wide spread as some might think. last I knew there where well over 100 people subscribed to the list and less than 20 that I know of have had ABS problems. that is still a high failure rate, but if the system works when you get the bike and you keep the fluid fresh it seem like you will not have a problem. My 93 has had no mechanical issues in the 5 years that I have owned it.
