Kevin says "Did he remove the front wheel and raise the caliper so the bleed
nipple is
the highest point on the assembly? "
After the comments about my "friend's" brake bleeding with a syringe, I'm
just installing my newly arrived speedbleeders, and have managed to bleed
the rear brake fairly simply.
However, the front is a different matter! I haven't got the Caliper support
bracket, special part shown in manual, and can't really see a simple way to
get the bleed nipple at the top with the caliper wallowing all over the
place, attached by hoses. Do I REALLY have to get it there, or will any
huge disaster strike the brakes if I don't? I'm just a simple lad, and find
taking the front wheel off hard enough! (Those of you who haven't done this
may smile......................but just you wait!!)
Help, please, experts! I won't do anything further for now..and hope I can
remember which bits go back where when I reassemble!
Regards,
Rob Chapman
