Dave, this is my response to the test. From day one I have told people
that I only sell Piaa bulbs because a lot of people ask for them . I
have never sold the 85 watt variant that was tested in this test, but I
can say that bikes equipped with the Piaa bulbs can be seen much better
in the daylight because of the temperature of the light ( Piaa=3800
degrees kelvin vs 3200 degrees kelvin for standard bulbs). Since Stanley
bulbs were not tested , and several of them do not have any coating or
tint at all , I still firmly stand behind my assertion that they are
superior to stock bulbs in every way except life expectancy. I think
after reading this report I will stop selling Piaa bulbs . I currently
use Stanley's in all my bikes and vehicles. Several other riders on the
list that are use Stanley's will tell you the same thing about their
performance compared to the stock GTS bulbs.

Sincerely,

Alan Tooraen
