One time I saw one of those review charts in a cycle mag, you know the ones
with all the bikes, test dates, and important performance figures.

It listed the 93 GTS as 148 mph on radar.  Now, if you figure that Yamaha
only lets them test a creampuff, perfect example of a GTS that was gone over
with a microscope for problems, then this probably added 2-3 mph over what
we would see.

I have seen an indicated 155, which I figure is the low 140's at best.
Stock tires and driveline, no bags, and seriously tucked in.
