Just an FYI for all, my bike is just in for the 20K service. I had my ABS
H.U. replaced under the Y.E.S. plan in May 1999. I added a service item to
the 20K service to flush the brakes and clutch since it's been 9 months or
so. Mechanic told me that the rear fluid was already beginning to look bad,
and also the clutch wasn't as good as it should be. He said the front looked
fine but flushed anyway. He told me that he's glad I said to flush it and
from now on he recommends we flush it at every service (every 4K). Since
replacing the H.U. I usually activate the rear ABS at least once every chain
lubing (300 mi) and about once a month run the ABS test. I do ride mine year
round and since our move it is in a garage when not ridden. Other items,
stock chain still OK but said it may be time for a new one at 24K, stock
front pads still OK as well, air cleaners (second set) are shot though so
waiting on new ones to come in ($25 each this time, use to be $40+ each).
Did we ever get any info on if AMSOIL was going to make air cleaners?

ps Lands End has three shirts awaiting logos (one for me), need three more
ordered to get it done without the surcharge. Also someone has ordered a hat
and it is also waiting 5 more ordered to prevent a surcharge (I may order
one, anyone else?). The shirts can be any shirt except the waffle type which
they consider sweater like.
Is anyone interested in Squall Jackets? Need 6 people total to prevent the
surcharge, I'm interested but want to know if there will be enough people or
if I'll have to pay the surcharge. The surcharge is the same as the log fee
$7.90 FYI.
