I'm Byron Black from Texas & Vancouver. I used to road race in the 1960s and
also wrote a number of articles for CYCLE WORLD, ROAD TEST, CYCLE, CYCLE
GUIDE and MOTORCYCLE DEALER NEWS before the FBI chased me out of the USA.
Now I live in Jakarta and ride/race mostly 2-strokes. But I love the GTS and
hope to acquire one before long.
The machine I want has a weird problem. Half the time when you squeeze the
brake lever you get a firm response, indicating proper closure of the
calipers / pads on the disc, and then suddenly you squeeze and the lever
comes back to the grip -- with no braking whatsoever!
Any ideas as to what is causing this effect?
