I find the gas range to be quite reasonable. If you take the time to really
fill the tank completely you can safely get 200 miles out of it cruising at
90 mph. I must remove that damn tube from the gas tank filler some time.

I've had my bike for 6 weeks now, and I'm trying to get the hang of
fill-ups! LOL guys ...... but as I decided I didn't need to read the
handbook section on filling up before my first gas-stop (a gas tank is a
gas tank, isn't it?) you all know what happened - gas everywhere!!
Now, I'd just like to get the hang of how to know the tank is full at
fill-up. I'm one of those sad people who keeps a minute record of mpg so
it's important to know I've filled the tank up.  I've had best of 47 mpg;
worst of 38. For some reason the mpg is going down the more I ride - now
why would that be??? :-)
Compared to my old Concours, I'm finding it hard to adjust to how quickly
fill-ups come round.
What hints have you guys got?

Joe - Loved your report - great to read!
