I am an occasional fisherman and I would recommend putting the foils in
a soft case perhaps and using whats called a rod sling. I got one just
for the purpose of being able to carry short (I am a surf fisherman so
short for me is about 10.5 feet) fishing rods on the motorcycle I have
not used it on the GTS but I imagine it should work just fine. I got
mine from a place called Cabela's and I'll see if I can't find the link
for you.
