Alan
from personal experience I can tell you it AIN't the weight. Just got back
from visiting friends in Virginia, came west then north through western VA,
eastern & central KY. My GTS used to be absolutely rock stable, any speed,
any truck passing, any cross winds. Never more than a slight push. I just
installed the clearview +5 I got from Paul & I've got some wear on a set of
BT57's. It's twitchy as hell now. You absolutely do not pass a truck in a
turn, nor let one pass you, even on the slab. The gusty winds today cut my
cornering speed 15-20MPH cause I can't hold a line through a turn if the
wind changed. Dropped 2 PSI front, 3 PSI back which helped some.

I'm going to put the stock windscreen back on to verify but I'm pretty sure
the tires are a major contributor. I seemed to me they were getting so they
went off center more quickly as they wore. Anybody else had this experience
with 57's?

Bill
